ETIM – Emerging Technologies in Medicine Symposium 2024

Event organized by the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (IKIM) on the topic “AI @ THE POINT OF CARE”

On March 15 and 16, 2024, the ETIM Symposium will take place at the Teaching and Learning Center of the Medical Faculty of the University of Duisburg-Essen. The event serves as a platform for medical staff, scientists, companies and start-ups to discuss AI in medicine. Insightful lectures and presentations will demonstrate the progress that AI can bring to medicine. Start-ups are invited to give pitches at the University of Duisburg-Essen to receive live feedback. The application deadline for this is February 29, 2024.

ETIM is hosted by the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, which was founded in 2020 and is part of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Duisburg Essen and University Medicine Essen. As consortium leader of the KI.NRW flagship project “SmartHospital.NRW”, University Medicine Essen is a pioneer in the smart transformation of healthcare.
